PALMETTO BAY TOUR

Spooky Channel for Snorkeling

Spooky Channel, located in Roatan, is a unique underwater destination that offers an intriguing snorkeling experience. This channel connects the murky lagoon of Sandy Bay to the outer reef, providing snorkelers with an opportunity to explore a diverse marine ecosystem. The channel’s depth reaches up to 95 feet, but snorkelers typically remain in shallower areas where they can enjoy the vibrant marine life without venturing too deep.

The Blue Channel

The Blue Channel in Roatán is renowned as one of the premier snorkeling and diving spots in the Caribbean, situated within the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, which is the second-largest coral reef system in the world. This site is celebrated for its rich biodiversity, featuring over 500 species of fish and 65 species of coral, alongside various marine creatures such as turtles, rays, sharks, dolphins, and whales.

On this tour we will be visiting 4 snorkeling sites: Spooky Channel, Blue Channel, the starfish bank and the sunken ship. This tour lasts 4 hours and costs $150 USD per person.
